DBKL cracks down on unlicensed premises, stalls at Lorong Sultan Ismail

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) seized a premises and three stalls operating without a licence despite prior notice given to vacate the site in Lorong Sultan Ismail here yesterday.

During the operation, checks revealed that the premises and three stalls had also obstructed Alam Flora from carrying out cleaning work in the area.

"Prior to the operation, DBKL had issued a notice for the vendors to vacate the site, but all of them disregarded the notice and continued their business activities,' DBKL said in a statement on their Facebook page.

All confiscated items were taken to the Jalan Lombong depot in Taman Miharja, Cheras.

"DBKL will continue to take action and monitor identified locations from time to time."
