KUNAK: The body of a farm worker was discovered floating this morning after he was reportedly attacked by a crocodile.
The victim, Ridwan Nawir, 50, was setting nets in a river near KLK Jatika Plantation at the time of the incident.
His body was located some 600 metres from where he was last seen being attacked by the reptile.
Kunak Fire and Rescue Department chief Mohammad Omarbatha said that the search and rescue (SAR) operation resumed at 7am today.
The operation involved collaboration with the police, the Wildlife Department, and local residents.
