Man flashes gun during Puchong food court argument, video goes viral

KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a man concealing an object resembling a pistol during an argument at a foodcourt has gone viral.

The 26-second video believed to be from the closed-circuit television of a food court in Puchong shows two men arguing while a woman attempts to cool down the situation.

The woman can also be seen pulling one of the men who is clad in a white round neck T-shirt.

Another video from a different angle captures the same man lifting his arms up to show an object resembling a firearm around his waist.

A message that was circulated along with the video via a whistleblower Telegram group, claimed that the incident occurred several days ago.

It also claimed that the man got into an argument with the foodcourt manager after he was told not to smoke there.

The message alleged that the man claimed to be untouchable even by the police. He showed his gun and pointed it at the manager's stomach.

The confrontation with the gun was not captured on CCTV.

When contacted by the New Straits Times, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said they have not received any report over the incident.

"We urge those who witness this alleged confrontation to come forward immediately," he said.

Those with information on the case should contact the Selangor police hotline at 03-2052 9999 or go to the nearest police station.
