ALOR STAR: Fresh floods in Kedah have forced the evacuation of 260 people from 75 families across Kota Setar and Baling.
The evacuees are now staying at three flood relief centres (PPS).
In Bandar Baharu, it was reported that 100 victims from 25 households were affected by flooding caused by high tide, however, no PPS were activated.
The Drainage and Irrigation Department's Infobanjir site shows that only one river—Sungai Ketil in Kuala Pegang—has exceeded dangerous levels.
