Angry Butterworth residents turn car parked in restricted area into rubbish dump

KUALA LUMPUR: A Toyota Vios car owner became the target of local residents' wrath after parking his vehicle in a restricted area.

A netizen took photos of the Vios, which had been covered in rubbish, posting them on Facebook to warn others about the consequences of illegally parking a vehicle.

The incident, reported by Guang Ming Daily, occurred at the Seaview Apartment in Seberang Perai, Penang, near a garbage collection point beside the Butterworth Digital Library.

Frustrated by the inconvenience caused, residents were believed to have retaliated by piling bags of rubbish and even an unwanted mattress onto the car.

The pictures show that the vehicle was parked in a spot obstructing the entrance to the garbage collection point.

With no alternative, local residents placed rubbish bins next to the car, turning it into a "garbage truck".

Many netizens expressed satisfaction with the outcome, showing their support by liking the post.
