BANGI: A fire broke out at a two-storey terrace house located in Bandar Baru Bangi's Seksyen 15 this afternoon.
State Fire and Rescue Department Director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail said firefighters from the Bangi and Kajang fire stations arrived at the scene at 2.22pm and brought the situation under control 20 minutes later.
"The operations commander reported that the fire involved a two-storey Class A terrace house measuring 22 by 80 feet, with the blaze originating from the upper-floor balcony.
"The estimated damage is 20 per cent, and there were no casualties," Razali said in a statement.
He added that two fire rescue tenders were deployed in the operation.
