KUALA LUMPUR: During the Dewan Rakyat's Ministers' Question Time (MQT) sessions every Tuesday in November, responses will be provided by ministers instead of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Ramli Mohd Nor said this adjustment is due to the Prime Minister's scheduled visits abroad throughout the month.
Before adjourning the third meeting of the 15th Parliament's third term for the week, Ramli said that the Dewan Rakyat will not convene on Tuesday and Thursday next week due to Deepavali celebrations.
This week's sitting saw 56 MPs from both the government and opposition debating the Supply Bill 2025 at the policy level, bringing the total number of MPs participating in the debate to 131 since it was presented by Anwar in his capacity as Finance Minister on Oct 18.
The Dewan Rakyat will reconvene on Monday, Nov 4. – BERNAMA
