The Johor leg for the selection will kick of the auditioning process.
Johor's Karnival Jom Heboh was chosen as a venue for auditions in recognition of the state capital's history of being a hub for producing talents in the entertainment industry.
Among those who auditioned earlier today was Muhammad Hadzri Hussein, also known as Ary Hussein, 39, from Nilai, Negri Sembilan, who arrived as early as 6am.
Despite some nerves, Ary was thrilled to be selected to move forward to the singing reality show and the opportunity to win RM1million.
"I am grateful that my first audition attempt was a success, especially with the encouragement from Cikgu Sarah and AG Coco, who gave me valuable feedback to improve my performance," he said.
Following Johor Baru, OIAM will hold in-person auditions across the country, namely in Sabah, Penang, Pahang, and Kuala Lumpur on the weekends between Nov 9 and 17.
Exact locations are expected to be announced soon.
For those unable to attend the physical auditions, online auditions will also be open from Nov 1 to 17.
Aspiring contestants can simply upload a one-minute video of their singing on TikTok, using the hashtags #CalpisOIAMTV3 and #SegarRasaSodapSuara, for a chance to compete in this season's One In A Million.
