KUALA LUMPUR: The remains of three victims involved in the fatal Perodua Viva crash near a commercial centre here were claimed by their respective families tonight.
The remains of Nizasuhana Ujang, 28, were claimed by her relatives at 9.55pm after the post-mortem process was completed.
She was laid to rest at the Batu 10 Balakong Muslim Cemetery in Cheras later.
Meanwhile, the body of Muhammad Danial Mohd Nuzi, 24, was claimed by his family at 10.05pm.
His burial is scheduled to take place this morning at the Bestari Jaya Muslim Cemetery.
Earlier, the remains of Nurulhuda Ramli, 41, were claimed by her family at around 6.40pm and laid to rest at the Raudhatul Sakinah Muslim Cemetery in Gombak tonight.
It was reported that the post-mortem for another victim, Amizan Sapiie, 27, has also been completed.
However, her body has yet to be claimed by her next-of-kin.
The post-mortem processes were carried out at the Putrajaya Hospital forensics department.
Muhammad Danial's elder sister, Nur Fatihah Mohd Nuzi, 26, said the funeral arrangements for her brother would be conducted tomorrow morning, with his remains being brought to their father's home in Bestari Jaya tonight.
She said she and her siblings would assist in managing the funeral at Masjid Al-Awwabin in Bestari Jaya, describing it as their final act of love and service for Muhammad Danial, whom they remembered as a kind and caring brother.
Their mother, Wan Norfiza Wan Muhammad Kamarudin, 56, said she received the devastating news about her son's death at 1pm.
She immediately travelled to Putrajaya from Pontian, Johor.
"He was a good son who always prioritised me as his mother.
"He would check in with me every two hours, often making video calls," she said.
The accident, which occurred at 12.10am, involved a Perodua Viva carrying two men and two women.
The car is believed to have skidded and crashed into a road barrier.
The police confirmed all four victims died at the scene.
