KUALA LUMPUR: A long list of items, 727 to be exact, belonging to Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, has been seized and marked for auction to settle a RM1,060,285 debt owed to Ah Design Communication.
The items seized from her bungalow at Meru Heights in Ipoh on Monday included game consoles, flowerpots, and four luxury vehicles.
The inventory list sighted by the New Straits Times revealed that the seizure involved chandeliers, ceiling fans, air conditioning units, curtains, as well as art pieces.
Various furniture, including cosmetic tables, sofas, cupboards, carpets, decorative boxes, mattresses and gaming chairs, were also seized.
The list also detailed the seizure of a treadmill, exercise bicycle, and compact guided weight machine.
Other items seized included a standing clock, a PlayStation Five, a Nintendo Switch, gaming tables, a DSLR camera, and dozens of flowerpots.
The four vehicles seized were two Toyota Vellfire, a Toyota Grand Hi-Ace and a BMW X7.
It was reported that the 53-year-old celebrity, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, admitted the incident damaged her reputation but chose to see it as a test of faith.
Vida shared her perspective on the controversy during a TikTok live session last night.
"Every test has wisdom behind it. God wants to elevate us, but it doesn't come for free," she said, adding that the seizure occurred while she was abroad.
Reports revealed that Vida's household items and vehicles in Ipoh were confiscated following her failure to settle renovation arrears for a Shah Alam factory-turned-studio.
The debt, amounting to RM1,060,285, has reportedly been outstanding since 2018.
