KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu is now facing a second wave of flooding following a continuous heavy rain warning, with 559 victims from 184 families relocated to 13 temporary relief centres (PPS) in the Kemaman district.
According to the Info Bencana JKM website, as of 7.30am, 1,131 flood victims from 345 families have been placed in 28 PPS across six states, including Terengganu.
In Negri Sembilan, 238 victims from 65 families have been moved to three PPS in the Tampin district, while in Johor, 166 victims from 43 families are sheltering in four PPS across the Segamat and Tangkak districts.
In Perak, 112 victims from 36 families are being accommodated in three PPS in the Kinta and Perak Tengah districts, while in Pahang, 45 victims from 13 families are staying in four PPS in the Maran district.
The flood situation in Melaka remains stable, with 45 victims from 13 families in four PPS in the Jasin district.
