BALIK PULAU: A search operation is underway for two men who have been missing at sea since yesterday.
Southwest district police chief Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam confirmed that a missing persons report was filed yesterday.
"Initial investigations revealed that the two men were involved in an incident at sea when their boat drifted off Keracut, near Kuala Sungai Pinang.
"The boat they were using is described as a blue and red unregistered vessel. A search is currently ongoing to locate the missing duo," he said today.
Sazalee also urged anyone with information to contact the district's operations room at 04-8664122 or reach out to the nearest police station.
