KUALA LUMPUR: Regent of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim said improving the quality of living, education, job opportunities and infrastructure would be the main focus for Johor and its people next year.
In a post on Facebook, Tunku Ismail said he was grateful for this year, which he described it has been a blessing.
"Plenty of achievements and milestones for Johor's development in terms of infrastructure, economy and international relations.
"There was also a positive development for Johor's youth, education, Johor Military Forces, our JDT FC and other sports.
"That being said, I'm also grateful for the lessons I learnt this year, and I'm looking forward to all the positive changes in every aspect that will take place next year.
"The main focus will be quality of living, education, job opportunities, and infrastructure that will benefit the state and Bangsa Johor.
"I wish everyone a Happy New Year."
