KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government will continue to strive and make every effort to develop the state of Sabah for the benefit and well-being of its people, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He said Sabah would continue to enjoy peace, success, and prosperity under the leadership of Tun Musa Aman, the 11th Governor of Sabah.
"I call on all leaders and people in the state to work together, unite, and cooperate in driving the development of our beloved state of Sabah. The governor is a unifying figure for all citizens, a symbol of the state's sovereignty, and a pillar of unity and harmony for our diverse society of various ethnicities, religions, and cultures. Hence, the highly respected institution of the Governor will always be upheld as a cornerstone of unity and a symbol of the sovereignty of Sabah," he said during the Oath of Office Ceremony of the 11th Governor of Sabah at the Istana Seri Kinabalu here.
Hajiji also expressed his heartfelt congratulations and pledged unwavering loyalty to Musa.
