KUALA LUMPUR: Netizens have been captivated by a video of a schoolgirl wearing a handmade ball gown for the Merdeka celebrations.
The video, shared by X user @skyscrapersboy, shows a costume competition where the standout entry was a ball gown crafted from canvas. Notably, the gown included a unique twist.
When the girl lifted the dress, it revealed a multi-coloured skirt layer underneath that fanned out like a striking display.
The crowd erupted in cheers as the skirt unfurled, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Meanwhile, netizens in the comments praised the parent's efforts in creating the gown.
