KUALA LUMPUR: Two queue-cutting drivers received swift retribution when they were stopped at a police roadblock moments after they cut the line at a traffic light.
In a 43-second video posted by @lensamaya97 on TikTok, two cars were seen crossing a double line to cut into the queue, frustrating other drivers.
A woman is heard commenting on the situation, saying, "Let's take a look at the troublemakers who love to cut in line. It's okay, we'll let them go ahead. Go ahead, cut the line."
As the traffic light turned green, the two vehicles managed to push their way into the queue, causing other motorists to slow down. However, their apparent success was short-lived.
A sharp-eyed netizen noticed a police officer on the roadside noting the vehicles' license plate numbers.
The drivers had been caught off guard when they encountered a police roadblock ahead.
"Congratulations for hitting the jackpot," the female driver quipped as the police stopped the vehicles.

The video garnered over 780,000 views with netizens debating on the situation.
A user said that it wasn't entirely the drivers' fault for cutting the queue, explaining that the road layout is generally confusing, which can lead to such mistakes.
However, @lensamaya97, the video uploader explained that it has been a norm at that particular junction to cut queues, which is more frustrating when no police are around.
"If it was me, I would've lowered my window and given them a good laugh," says user @oseinpaknoh.
