KUALA LUMPUR: The antics of a young woman making the most out of a natural disaster amused netizens after she was recorded peddling an improvised raft in Jawi, South Seberang Perai, Penang during the recent floods.
In the video posted by rolex46 on his Tik Tok account two days ago, the girl was recorded nonchalantly peddling the contraption in front of a row of shophouses near a main road in Jawi.
She rows the home-made float using a plastic broom and a stick.
A man's voice is also heard calling out for her and trying to get her attention, before the video ends.
The viral video has so far been viewed by over 32,000 viewers and received over 600 comments.
Most of the comments were hilarious with many praising the woman for her creativity.
Among those who commented were kie, who said: "She looks like she is taking it cool, as if making the best out of the worst situation."
