KUALA LUMPUR: A chicken rice stall in Kuching, Sarawak has gone viral on social media with its meal option inspired by the different airline seating classes.
A post on the Facebook page of 126 Laksa food court, which has been shared more than 2,400 times, was flooded with comments from social media users who were amused with the stall, named "No-Show Chicken Rice," with the tagline "everyone can eat."
According to a picture in the Facebook post, the stall offers various types and portions of chicken rice inspired by airline seating classes, including economy, business, premium economy, and first class.
The stall also features a larger portion named "flight + hotel" and playful menu items like "curry delay."
"I have tried (the menu offered at the stall) today.. The chicken is juicy, the chili sauce is nice too," said Edwin Lim in the comment section of the Facebook posting.
Another Facebook user, Mohd Zainal, described the chicken stall operator's strategy of taking inspiration from airline experience as a good marketing strategy.
