KUALA LUMPUR: A number of Pakatan Harapan (PH) party leaders have been appointed as chairman for the pact at the state level.
The state chiefs come from the pact’s component parties of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM), Dap, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Parti Amanah Negara (PAN).
In statement issued by PH this evening, it said that Selangor Mentri Besar and PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali was appointed to head the pact in Selangor while Penang Chief Minister and Dap secretary-general Lim Guan Eng will head PH in the Pearl of the Orient.
In Johor PPBM president and Pagoh Member of Parliament, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will lead PH, while in Kedah, PPBM deputy president and Ayer Hitam state assemblyman Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir will head PH.
In Pahang, state PKR chief and Indera Mahkota member of Parliament Datuk Fauzi Abdul Rahman will head the pact, in Perlis it will be led by state PPBM chief registrar Ameir Hassan, while in Kuala Lumpur, it will be Dap acting Chairman and Cheras member of Parliament Tan Kok Wai.
In the east coast state of Kelantan PAN vice-president and Pengakalan Salor state assemblyman Datuk Husam Musa will head PH in the state, while in Terengganu it will be PAN’s Kuala Terengganu member of Parliament, Datuk Raja Kamarul Bahrin.
In Negri Sembilan, the pact appointed state PKR chief and Sikamat state assemblyman Aminuddin Harun while in in Perak it will be state PPBM chief Ahmad Faizal Azumu, wheras in Melaka it will be headed by its state PAN chief Adli Zahari.
In Sarawak PH will be headed by Sarawak DAP chief and Kuching member of Parliament Chong Chieng Jen, whereas in Sabah it will be the state PKR chief and Api-Api assemblywoman Christina Liew.
