PETALING JAYA: PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar said today she would defend her Lembah Pantai parliamentary seat in the 14th General Election (GE14).
"I am committed to defend the Lembah Pantai seat. However, the leadership of course has the final say," she told a press conference here today.
Nurul Izzah has held the seat since 2008 when she defeated three-term Lembah Pantai member of parliament Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil who is also Wanita Umno chief.
In 2013, Nurul Izzah defended her seat against former Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Seri Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin.-- BERNAMA
