KANGAR: Half of the 18 candidates Perlis Pas is fielding in the 14th general election (GE14) are made up of new faces.
Its commissioner, Mohd Shukri Ramli, said the party is finalising its list and that candidates will be introduced to the public on April 19.
"We will introduce the candidates to (other) party members at Dataran Sejahtera here.
"We are ready to face the imminent three-cornered fights in the GE14, and we are confident that we will be able to add more seats, such as Arau," he said when contacted.
In the previous general election five years ago, Pas fielded 11 candidates to contest the single state seat and three Parliamentary seats.
The party won only one seat through Shukri.
