KINABATANGAN: Popular artiste Shaheizy Sam has made his way to Kinabatangan for an important job – to help campaign for his brother-in-law, Datuk Bung Moktar Radin.
The 36-year-old Polis Evo actor, drew the attention of villagers who kept approaching him for pictures.
“I came to Kinabatangan to help my brother-in-law in his campaign. Apart from wanting to visit Sabah, I wanted to join him on his campaign trail in several areas within the Kinabatangan constituency.
“Our family will continue to support Bung Moktar. I feel it’s also part of my responsibility to assist him in this election,” he told reporters when met at the Kampung Tanjung Batu hall here, today.
Sam, whose actress sister Zizie Ezette is married to Bung Moktar, was not alone as he was also accompanied by popular comedian Zizan Razak.
Speaking on the support shown by Kinabatangan folk, Sam said he was impressed to see the constituents in high spirits as they blared out “Tatap BN.”
He also believed Bung Moktar would be able to defend his Kinabatangan parliamentary seat in the 14th general election.
Bung Moktar, the incumbent is facing two contenders, namely Mustapha Datu Tambuyong of Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah and Ghazali Abdul Ghani of Parti Warisan Sabah.
