Husam, state Amanah chief barred from entering Kelantan palace, govt premises

KOTA BARU: Parti Amanah Negara vice-president Husam Musa and the state party chief, Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah, have been barred from entering all six royal palaces and state government premises in Kelantan.

The directive to bar Husam, who is the former Salor assemblyman, and Wan Abdul Rahim from entering palace grounds and state government buildings was imposed following a circular issued by the state secretary Datuk Nazran Muhamad dated May 27.

Nazran confirmed to the New Straits Times that the circular have been distributed to more than 2,000 civil servants in the state.

“I have received a directive to ban the two from entering the Kota Darulnaim Complex, all state government departments as well as the palaces.

“If the two wanted to enter these places for some urgent matter, they must get permission before they can do so,” Nazran said.

Wan Abdul Rahim, when contacted, said he was surprised with the ban slapped by the state government against him and Husam.

Although he was disappointed with the directive, Wan Abdul Rahim said he would accept such development with an open heart.

“Of course, it is a surprised to me. As a loyal rakyat (of Kelantan), I will adhere with the directive. I knew about the ban after it went viral on social media yesterday," he said.

He also said that he believed Husam was aware and would adhere with the directive with regards to the ban.
