MARANG: Pas has agreed to use the new Perikatan Nasional (PN) logo in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Its president, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, said that in principle, Pas had agreed to use the new PN logo but the matter was still under discussion.
He said the Islamic party had also envisioned staying with PN and Muafakat Nasional (MN) to face the next general election.
"We have not budged from the ummah unity agenda and cooperation with MN is still ongoing," he told the press after delivering his Friday lecture at the Rusila Mosque, here, today.
On the use of other logos if Pas was still part of MN, the Marang member of parliament said this could be discussed later.
On the distribution of seats in preparation for GE15, Hadi said negotiations had been discussed from time to time.
"Although the date of the GE(15) has yet to be announced but discussions, including preparations for the GE, are always ongoing," he said.
