KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan candidate for Batu constituency P Prabakaran arrived to cast his vote at Sekolah Menengah Persendirian Chung Hwa, Jalan Ipoh around 8.14am, here today.
The 10-corner fight in Batu constituency is the most crowded number of candidates for the 15th General Election (GE15).
Apart from Prabakaran, A Kohilan Pillay (Barisan Nasional), Azhar Yahya (Perikatan Nasional), Wan Azliana Wan Adnan (Pejuang), Naganathan Pillai (Warisan), and Mohd Zulkifli Abdul Fattah (Parti Rakyat Malaysia) were contesting for the seat.
There are also four independents including former local member of parliament Chua Tian Chang (also known as Tian Chua), lawyer Siti Zabedah Kasim, Nur Fathiah Syazwana Shaharudin, and Too Cheng Huat.
There are 113,863 registered voters in the constituency.
