Chong Fat Full remains Bersatu non-Malay wing chief, Sanjeevan No. 2

KUALA LUMPUR: Dr Chong Fat Full won the position of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Alliance wing chief uncontested, extending his tenure for the 2024-2027 term.

Party election committee chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi in a statement said Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan secured the wing vice chief post unopposed.

Azim said the wing held its convention on Oct 12.

"One of the key agendas was the election of new leadership for 2024-2027 at both the central and division levels.

"The committee has received and reviewed all reports and complaints gathered from the convention and completed the final tally of valid votes in an orderly manner, in compliance with all election guidelines, rules, and voting procedures for the election," he said.

The results of the election are as follows:

Permanent chairman: Chelvarajan Suppiah (won uncontested)

Deputy permanent chairman: Subramaniam Purushothama (won uncontested)

Chief: Dr Chong Fat Full
Vice chief: Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan
