KOTA BARU: PKR will offer something new to voters in Kelantan in its quest to capture the state in the next general election.
State PKR leadership council chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Suparadi Md Noor said this was among the strategies for the party to wrest the state from Pas in the 16th General Election.
Without elaborating, he said these "offers" will benefit the people of Kelantan.
"It is too early for me to reveal the offers but what I can share here is that our new offers will definitely attract voters.
"We have our own strategy and roadmap to capture Kelantan in GE16 and we are sure that voters will choose the right political party to rule Kelantan," he said after a 'Jalinan Mesra' programme with local media practitioners here last night.
Suparadi said a meeting with the PKR leadership to discuss the GE16 strategies would be held next month.
"All state leadership council members will hold a meeting with the party's top leadershio next month. Among other things, we will discuss on this issue.
"The meeting is important so that we can know our direction in facing the general election."
On the programme with Kelantan media, he said it was aimed at forging closer relationships between the state PKR and media practitioners.
"As representatives to the prime minister in the state, we (state PKR) need to conduct various programmes to approach the people.
"Without cooperation from media practitioners, our efforts in getting close to the people will not be achieved.
"We hope the media in Kelantan will continue givings its corporation to the state party," he said.
