Low Yat records RM112.5 mil in sales from Amaya in six months

Low Yat Group, recognised for building Malaysia's first international hotel, The Federal Hotel in Bukit Bintang in 1957, said that its latest double-story terraced housing project, Amaya, has achieved sales of RM112.5 million in six months.

The current take-up rate for the project, which has a gross development value of RM129 million, is 90 per cent. The launch took place in November 2022.

According to Andrew Goh, general manager of area property (development and management) of Rawang Lakes Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Low Yat, Amaya achieved a 90 per cent take-up rate due to the project's unique features such as being the first gated and guarded residential development in Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP) and having a private resident clubhouse with facilities.

Amaya is located within the 145.68-acre Acacia Park residential enclave, which is part of the 2,670-acre BTP township development in Rawang, Selangor by Low Yat.

The project offers 387 units with built-ups starting from 1,619 sq ft. The units are selling from RM600,000.

Goh believes that the multiple amenities provided within the town and surrounding area contribute to Amaya's success.

The development is next to the 27-hole Tasik Puteri Golf & Country Club.

Paradise Fair lifestyle mall is also in the works, with Star Grocer as its flagship tenant.

Aside from that, people can enjoy greenery and parks, such as linear parks established in the rear alleyways of the houses and a 4.7-acre main park in the township.

BTP began developing in 2000, with 42 lots consisting of residential enclaves and commercial components.
