S P Setia's Zaini Yusoff re-elected chairman of Rehda Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (Rehda) Selangor Branch has announced its new leadership team for the 2024-2026 term, following a shareholders' meeting on May 21, attended by 110 members.

Datuk Zaini Yusoff, from I&P Group Sdn Berhad and also the chief operating officer of S P Setia Berhad, has been re-elected as the chairman of Rehda Selangor, continuing his tenure.

Similarly, Datuk Edward Chong Sin Kiat, representing Shah Alam 2 Sdn Bhd and also the chief financial officer of IJM Corporation Berhad, retains his position as the deputy chairman of Rehda Selangor.

Expressing gratitude for the members' trust, Zaini said, "Together with our capable committee, we will continue to advocate for policies that benefit our industry and support sustainable development in Selangor."

Chong echoed this sentiment, expressing his anticipation to collaborate with the new committee to tackle industry challenges and drive initiatives for the welfare of members and the community.

In the new line-up, Kelvin Choo Yung Yau of Pembinaan Gapadu Sdn Bhd assumes the role of secretary, FD Idzham of Magical Sterling Sdn Bhd as treasurer, and Adly Sham Che Din of Sunway PKNS Sdn Bhd as assistant secretary.

The branch committee members include Loo Chee Yang of Sin Hee Yang Property Management Sdn Bhd, Shanaz Muztaza of Fairview Development Sdn Bhd, James Tan Kok Kiat of Suntrack Development Sdn Bhd, Teo Ching Wee of Mitraland Properties Sdn Bhd, Appollo Leong of Sime Darby Property (City of Elmina) Sdn Bhd, Azhar Shaharudin of Medan Prestasi Sdn Bhd, Tan Siow Chung of Bandar Setia Alam Sdn Bhd, Denn Gan of Ralis Group Sdn Bhd, Ong Ghee Bin of Wawasan Rajawali Sdn Bhd, and Sezleen Bahzme of Symphony Hills Sdn Bhd.
