KUALA LUMPUR: The appearance of Paris Olympic bronze medallist Lee Zii Jia at an exhibition event in a prominent shopping centre here today received rapturous applause from the audience.
Zii Jia, who was dressed in a blue jacket, white T-shirt, and shorts, captivated the crowd with his confident yet casual walk on the stage.
Many fans uploaded photos and videos of Zii Jia's catwalk on stage on social media.
After the catwalk session, Zii Jia showed the audience the bronze medal he won at the Paris Olympics.
He also allowed those present to touch and feel the hard-earned medal.
"Wow, Lee Zii Jia's catwalk was really impressive. Excellent," Rehana posted on social media.
"Ridiculously handsome," praised @frahmzn.
"Lee Zii Jia would make a great model; he's got the height and looks smart, but you can still see the shyness on his face walking in front of the crowd. You'll be even more famous after this," said Suzann.
