KUALA LUMPUR: Men's doubles Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani reached their first final since turning professional at the China Open today.
They defeated Indonesia's world No. 88 Muhammad Shohibul Fikri-Daniel Marthin 21-14, 24-22 in 42 minutes at the Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium in Changzhou.
World No. 22 Sze Fei-Izzuddin, who left the national set-up on Sept 1, will be playing in their second final of the year after winning the Japan Open last month.
They are second pair to reach the final of the Super 1000 event after mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai.
Sze Fei-Izzuddin will face the winner of the other semi-final clash between China's world No. 7 He Ji Ting-Ren Xiang Yu and compatriots Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi tomorrow.
