KUALA LUMPUR: Luqman Hakim Shamsudin turned hero for the KV Kortrjk Under-21 team in the Belgium youth league yesterday.
The Malaysian forward scored the winner with a header in the 83rd minute in an away match against KFCO Beetschot Wilrijk.
Luqman's team are now fourth in the Belgium youth league after six games with 14 points.
Earlier, in a match against RWD Molenbeek, the 18-year-old from Kota Baru came in as a reserve in the 65th minute and made an immediate impact as KV Kortrijk fought back from 3-1 down to level at 3-3 before conceding one more goal.
