Pahang out to make amends

FOLLOWING the 3-1 defeat by Selangor in last week's Super League match, Sri Pahang are hoping to bounce back against Perak in Kuantan today.

Perak were held to a goalless draw by PJ City FC in Ipoh last week.

Pahang coach Thomas Dooley claimed his boys are fired up to make amends and collect their first points of the season.

"I have drilled them accordingly in training, and they have promised to work harder tomorrow," said Dooley yesterday. "It would be like an away game at the Darulmakmur Stadium as fans are still not allowed into venues, so there is no advantage for us.

"I hope we will take our chances and collect the points."

On Perak's strength, Dooley said they are a decent side with many quality players.

"Although they drew with PJ City, we cannot take them lightly. They will be motivated to secure a win," he added.

Pedro Henrique and Yevhen Bokhashvili are likely to lead Pahang's attack today.
