Sri Pahang coach Dollah Salleh is upset with his players as they failed to play as a team in the 2-2 draw against Kedah in Wednesday's Super League match at Darulmakmur Stadium in Kuantan.
The former international claims his team depended on the individual ability of just one player against Kedah.
Kedah's hopes of winning the match were dented when Loqman Hakim Marzuki scored an own goal in the 87th minute.
Earlier, the Red Eagles scored through Amirul Hisyam Awang Kechik (12th minute) and Syazwan Zainon (67th), while Kenny Athiu replied for Pahang in the 29th minute.
Dollah is certainly feeling uneasy as the Elephants could still get relegated this season. They are ninth in the standings with 18 points with two matches left to play this season.
He said the shortcoming made it difficult for his men to create and score goals on Wednesday.
"We relied too much on one player in the match. Whenever we were attacking, there was only one player inside the Kedah penalty box to take the chances," said Dollah on Friday.
However, he said Pahang showed urgency when substitute Abdul Malik Mat Ariff was introduced in the 55th minute.
Pahang will play Penang on Sunday before completing their season against UiTM on Sept 12.
Kedah coach Aidil Sharin Sahak was satisfied with his team's performance.
"We only had one foreign player in the game, so I am satisfied with the point.
"We were aware that it would not be an easy match as the hosts were desperate to win and improve their position in the Super League," said Aidil.
Kedah, who take on Kuala Lumpur City tomorrow, are second with 39 points from 19 matches.
Melaka will play Perak at the Hang Jebat Stadium today.
