JDT hit 10 past 10-man BRM

KUALA LUMPUR: As expected, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) showed no mercy as the Super League champions thrashed M3 League's BRM FC 10-0 in the first round of the FA Cup at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri today.

Fernando Forestieri was the toast of JDT with a hat-trick in the second, 25th and 42nd minutes.

The other goals came from Safiq Rahim (eighth), Safawi Rasid (19th), Mauricio Nascimento (56th), Moussa Sidibe (69th), Daryl Sham George (82nd), Mohamadou Sumareh (89th) and Daniel Amir Norhizam (90th).

BRM were down to 10 players in the 69th minute when Haiqal Afendi Norizat Anuar received his marching order for a foul inside his own penalty box.

For the record, JDT have scored 20 goals in their opening four matches (in all competitions) this season. They have yet to concede a goal.

Meanwhile, KL City hammered M3 League's Langkawi City 8-0 at the KLFA Stadium.

Fakrul Aiman Sidid (13th, 29th), J. Partiban (15th), Zhafri Yahya (45th), Giancarlo Gallifuoco (73rd), Hadin Azman (75th), Paulo Josue (86th) and Kevin Koubemba (89th) were the scorers for KL City.

Darren Lok (24th) and P. Rajes (89th) scored a goal each for PJ City in the 2-1 win over Kelantan at MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya. The east coast side scored through Fadek Antar (18th).

In Kuching, Sarawak United thrashed third-tier side Ultimate FC 7-0 courtesy of goals from Boris Kok (ninth), Uche Agba (51st, 72nd), Nur Shamie Iszuan (58th), Ahmad Khairil Anuar (73rd), Zharmien Ashraf Ismail (81st) and Francis Kone (86th).
