JDT still so far ahead of the others

KUALA LUMPUR: If you think one of those so-called better teams like Terengganu are catching up with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), forget it.

JDT easily crushed Terengganu 4-0 in a Super League match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Friday.

The scoreline says it all - JDT are in a different class.

But Terengganu's Croatian coach Tomislav Steinbruckner felt that his team wouldn't have lost so badly if their player, Ubaidullah Shamsul, had not been red carded in the 32nd minute.

Bergson Da Silva scored a hat-trick (32nd, 64th, 90th+2 minutes) after JDT got an early goal through Heberty Fernandes in the seventh.

Meanwhile, Kedah coach Nafuzi Zain was disappointed with the 1-1 home draw against Kuching City after a last-minute VAR decision led to a penalty goal equaliser by the Cats.
