KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian international Saddil Ramdani helped Sabah to extend their unbeaten Super League run to six matches by scoring the equaliser against KL City in a 2-2 draw today at Likas Stadium.
The City Boys flew to Kota Kinabalu without their injured striker Romel Morales though they welcomed the return of goalkeeper Kevin Ray Mendoza.
Malaysia Cup champions KL struck as early as the fifth minute with a header from Australian Giancarlo Gallifuoco for his first league goal this season.
But the Rhinos charged back at the start of the second half and found the equaliser in the 47th minute through centreback Dominic Tan.
However, KL took a 2-1 lead in the 61st minute when Akram Mahinan found Brazilian Paulo Josue's cross and headed home.
Five minutes from time, the 23-year-old Saddil denied KL victory by scoring from a superb free kick outside the box.
Sabah are still second in the league with 36 points while KL remain in fifth place with 22 points.
