Top goalkeeper Syihan signs for JDT

KUALA LUMPUR: One of the M-League's much-asked questions has been answered: Syihan Hazmi has joined Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT).

The Southern Tigers yesterday confirmed the signing of the national goalkeeper.

In a 57-second video clip, Syihan was seen taken on a ride in a white stretched limousine around the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, which is synonymous with JDT's announcement of new signings.

The video also showed the former Negri Sembilan goalkeeper donning the number 33 jersey.

The 26-year-old Syihan stole the show in the King's Cup last September with a magnificent save that saw Malaysia beat favourites Thailand 5-3 on penalties in the semi-finals.
