KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are looking forward to ending a stellar season on a high by beating Sri Pahang in the Super League tomorrow.
The Southern Tigers, unbeaten in the league with 14 wins and one draw, will host the Elephants at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
The venue was chosen after Pahang's home ground, the Temerloh Municipal Council Stadium, was deemed unplayable due to field issues.
Fresh off a hard-fought 2-1 win against KL City in the Malaysia Cup, JDT head coach Hector Bidoglio wants his team to maintain their high standards.
"JDT have a strong, large squad, and every player knows their role. Their commitment is crucial as we aim to finish 2024 on a winning note," said Bidoglio.
Meanwhile, Pahang coach Fandi Ahmad revealed that his players are struggling with fatigue and that injuries remain a concern.
His team travelled directly from Manjung to Iskandar Puteri and finally got a suitable training pitch, a marked improvement from their preparatory struggles in Kuantan.
