The Cops rob Selangor of a win

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor were heading for a Super League win at the Selayang Municipal Stadium on Saturday before Police ambushed them just before the final whistle for a 1-1 draw.

Selangor shot into the lead in the 16th minute after Alvin Fortes' header struck the crossbar and rebounded fortuitously into the net.

But as the match entered stoppage time with six minutes added, Police's substitute, Aremu Timothy Oluwaseun, scored a stunning equaliser from the left flank.

In Alor Star, Kedah edged Terengganu 1-0 with Jose Cleylton Dos Santos scoring the winner just before half time.

At the Manjung Municipal Stadium, Sabah staged a thrilling comeback for a 4-2 victory over hosts Perak.

The Bos Gaurus opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a penalty by Luciano Guaycochea after Sabah goalkeeper Damien Lim fouled Luka Milunovic.

However, nine minutes later, Sabah equalised with Kwang Min Ko scoring his first goal for the club. Stuart Wilkin then gave the Rhinos a 2-1 lead in the 44th minute.

But Perak's Clayton Da Silva levelled the score in the second half. However, Sabah struck in the final seven minutes through Joao Pedro (83rd) and Miguel Cifuentes (88th).
