KUALA LUMPUR: The national wushu squad grabbed the second gold of the day for the country at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) this morning, after Loh Jack Chang topped the men's Taijiquan competition.
Loh scored 9.66 points, finishing above Singapore's Tan Wei Han Samuel who recorded 9.52 points. Myanmar's Htet Khant Min earned 9.36 points for the bronze medal.
This is Loh’s second gold medal for the national contingent after winning gold in the men's Taijijian event on Sunday.
With this victory, the national wushu squad has amassed six gold medals at the 2017 KL Sea Games.
There are three more wushu gold medals up for grabs in three events scheduled later this evening.
