MALAYSIA ended their campaign in the Wushu World Championships on Tuesday with a gold medal in the women's duilian (choreographed fight sets) in Kazan, Russia.
The trio of Phoon Eyin, Loh Ying Ting and Tan Cheong Min impressed the judges with their coordinated routines to earn 9.46 points for the title.
Lucy Lee and Mia Tian of the United States took the silver with a 9.22 total while Macau's Li Yi-Sou Cho Man posted 9.20 points for third position.
Malaysia completed the world meet with two gold, three silver and three bronze medals to finish fourth in the overall standings.
China won the overall title with eight gold and eight bronze, followed by Hong Kong (5-3-3) while Indonesia and South Korea finished joint third with an identical 2-4-1 haul.
