JOHOR BAHRU: There’s nothing impossible for Johor Darul Ta’zim, and this spirit is evident from fans willing to ‘camp’ at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium here tonight to make sure they are among the first to buy tickets for the Malaysia Cup final over the counter tomorrow.
Some even brought along family members and came prepared with tents and mats to get through the night.
One of them, Asmahwati Mohd Dom, 43, said she and her family had camped at the stadium since 8.30pm.
The ardent Southern Tigers supporter said she never missed any important match involving her favourite team.
“We tried to purchase tickets online this afternoon. However, we could not obtain them as the JDT website was down. So, my husband suggested we camp out here to ensure we get the tickets tomorrow,” she said when met by Bernama tonight.
The Malaysia Cup final between JDT and Kedah will take place at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.
A total of 72,000 tickets have been allocated with each team receiving 30,000 tickets for adults and 750 for children, while another 10,000 tickets (adults) and 500 tickets (children) would be exclusively sold online.
Tickets for adults are sold at RM50 while it is RM5 for children, including GST and insurance.– BERNAMA
