KUALA LUMPUR: Alpine ski racer Jeffrey Webb did well to finish mid-pack in the men's giant slalom on his Winter Olympics debut in Pyeongchang on Sunday.
Jeffrey clocked one minute and 25.73 seconds in the first run followed by 1:22.95s in the second for a combined time of 2:48.68s at the Yongpyong Alpine Centre.
He finished 68th out of 110 skiers that started in the competition.
Austrian Marcel Hirscher emerged victorious on 2:18.04s while Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen (+1.27s) and France’s Alexis Pinturault (+1.31s) settled for silver and bronze.
Jeffrey still has the slalom event to compete on Thursday.
