KUALA LUMPUR: Former national swimmers Chui Lai Kwan and Chan Jie proved they remain formidable forces in Malaysian swimming after logging some impressive performances at the Malaysian Open Swimming Championships today.
Lai Kwan, 33, emerged victorious in the women's 50 metre freestyle, touching the wall in 26.21 seconds to take the gold for Sabah at the National Aquatics Centre in Bukit Jalil.
