Olympic Games preview today - July 31 [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Three Malaysian athletes will compete in two sports today on the sixth day of the Paris Olympics.

The action begins with Goh Jin Wei facing South Korea's Kim Ga Eun in a badminton match at 2.30pm. Later in the day at 8pm, shuttler Lee Zii Jia will take on Spain's Pablo Abian.

Before Zii Jia steps onto the court, archer Ariana Nur Dania Zairi will compete against Italy's Chiara Rebagliati in the women's individual elimination round, starting at 7.44pm.

At 12.11am, tomorrow, archer Nurul Azreena Fazil will go head-to-head with Turkiye's Elif Berra Fokkir.

For those who plan to stay up late, mixed doubles badminton players Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei will face South Korea's Kim Won Ho-Jeong Na Eun at around 3.30am.

A total of 20 gold medals are up for grabs today, but the men's individual triathlon has been rescheduled due to pollution in the Seine River.

The men's and women's gold medal surfing competitions in Tahiti have also been postponed due to unfavourable surf conditions.

As of 11.30am today, Japan lead the medal count with seven gold, two silver and four bronze. China are second with six gold, six silver and two bronze while Australia hold third place with six gold, four silver and one bronze.
