The action kicks off with world No. 12 Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah facing South Korean pair Kim So Yeong-Kong Hee Yong in the women's doubles quarter-finals at 2:30 pm.
Next, all eyes turn to the golf course, where three-time Olympian Gavin Green tees off at 3 pm. Could this be his year?
In sailing, Khairulnizam Afendy competes in races one and two of the men's dinghy category at 6:15 pm, followed by Nur Shazrin Latif in the women's event at 9:35 pm.
Before Shazrin hits the waters, world No. 3 Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik take on India's reigning Asian Games champions Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty in the men's doubles quarter-finals at 7 pm.
World No. 7 Lee Zii Jia will also be in action, facing local favourite Toma Junior Popov in the men's singles round of 16, scheduled not before 8:10 pm.
A total of 18 medals are up for grabs today in athletics, shooting, rowing, sailing, judo, canoe slalom, artistic gymnastics, swimming, and fencing.
Meanwhile, day six of the Olympics saw a historic night at the swimming pool.
French star Leon Marchand and American sensation Katie Ledecky set records, while China's Pan Zhanle ended the programme with a bang by breaking his own 100-meter freestyle world record to claim his country's first swimming gold of the meet.
China lead the medal tally with nine gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals, for a total of 19.
Host nation France are second with eight gold, 10 silver, and eight bronze, totaling 26 medals.
Japan round out the top three with eight gold, three silver, and four bronze medals, for a total of 15.
