KUALA LUMPUR: As the Paris Olympics enter Day 12, Malaysia have an opportunity to win their third medal.
Today, six Malaysian athletes are competing. Golfer Ashley Lau will start her quest in the women's individual stroke play with the first round teeing off at 3:00pm.
Later, track cyclists Datuk Azizulhasni Awang and Shah Firdaus Sahrom will feature in the men's sprint qualifiers, scheduled for 6:45pm.
Shortly after, Nurul Izzah Izzati Asri will race in the women's keirin first round at 7:26pm.
At 9:00pm, two Malaysians from different sports will see action simultaneously. Diver Nur Dhabitah Sabri will compete in the women's 3-metre springboard preliminaries while weightlifter Aniq Kasdan will compete in the men's 61kg category. Aniq will be Malaysia's sole contender for a medal today.
