KUCHING: Pahang continues to dominate the shooting events at the Sarawak Malaysia Games (Sukma).
Today, Pahang's Sayyeda Khadeeja Mohammad Anis Fadhil added the women's 10 metre air pistol individual event gold after scoring 227.7 points.
Federal Territories' Nur Irdina Batrisya Irwan Ezadi (225.3) and Negri Sembilan's Tan Jade Wayne (198.6) claimed silver and bronze.
Sayyeda, together with Wan Nur Afiqah Wan Mohd Haneef and Damia Hani Mohamad Sakran, also claimed the team gold in the same discipline after scoring a combined 1,663.
Sarawak (Siti Nur Anniesa Mohd Danial Fikri, Nur Izzaty Abdul Razi, Leticia Chai Jia Yi) took silver on 1,603 while Negri (Jade Wayne, Shi Qing Cheng, Winnie Chong) claimed the bronze (1,559).
Sayyeda, who earlier in the competition won the 25m pistol individual and team golds, has now won four gold medals in Sarawak.
Shooters from Pahang have now won nine gold medals in total at the Sarawak Sukma.
