KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian squash ace S. Sivasangari came back from a set down to defeat veteran Joelle King of New Zealand 9-11, 11-6, 11-6, 12-10 in 40 minutes to reach the third round of the US$315,000 Egyptian Open in Giza City on Saturday.
The world No. 9, who received a first round bye, will face Egypt's world No. 17 Nada Abbas for a place in the quarter-finals on Monday.
Nada, who won the Irish Open, defeated Sarah Jane Perry of England 11-3, 10-12, 11-9, 11-5 in the second round.
It was the end of the road for world No. 24 Rachel Arnold who went down 11-3, 5-11, 11-5, 11-3 in 32 minutes to world No. 10 Amanda Sobhy of the United States.
